Darla Clark
Director of Leadership Development
Darla Clark serves as Director of Leadership Development at TK Education Consulting. With 30 years of experience in public education—including roles as teacher, assistant principal, principal, and assistant superintendent—Darla has dedicated her career to strengthening instructional leadership and improving outcomes for students across diverse learning communities. She is recognized for her commitment to developing exceptional leaders and building high-performing school systems.
Prior to joining TK Education Consulting, Darla served as Assistant Superintendent for a large school district, where she provided executive leadership for 21 elementary campuses, the district’s Pre-K Department, and the Extended Day Academy. Under her leadership, elementary campuses demonstrated significant gains in academic performance and accountability, with a dramatic increase in schools recognized for high achievement. Her work has been centered on strategic planning, principal coaching, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.
Darla holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington. Her expertise includes leadership development, principal coaching, strategic planning, continuous improvement, and building systems that empower educators to achieve lasting results.
Today, Darla partners with district and campus leaders to build leadership capacity through intentional coaching, strategic planning, and collaborative learning. She helps leaders establish clear goals, strengthen instructional systems, and use data to drive continuous improvement. Drawing on her extensive experience developing principals and leadership teams, Darla equips educators with practical strategies to foster collaborative cultures, maximize the strengths of their staff, and create the conditions for sustained student success.
