Senior Leadership Director
Danna Dansby serves as the Senior Director of Leadership Development, where she partners with school leaders to foster growth and success through collaborative coaching. A former District Teacher of the Year, Danna brings her passion for education to every interaction, working alongside leaders to support their professional development and help them achieve their goals. With over 25 years of experience in education, Danna has excelled in various roles, including teacher, instructional coach, District Learning Facilitator, and Leadership Coach, all with a focus on empowering individuals.
Holding a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Danna is an expert in effective teaching practices. She has provided extensive training on best practices in literacy and partners with leaders to implement impactful systems that enhance the sense of belonging among teachers and students. She is skilled in coaching leaders to implement systems around professional learning communities (PLCs), observation and coaching, formative feedback, and analyzing student work. Her coaching style has been praised by the leaders she supports, who describe her as uplifting, knowledgeable, and dedicated to ensuring that leaders feel heard, valued, and empowered to make meaningful changes on their campuses.
A strong advocate for leveraging individual strengths, Danna is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and has trained numerous individuals, teams, campuses, and educational leaders across Texas. She specializes in helping educators and their teams identify their talents and strengths, navigate challenges, and channel their abilities to achieve organizational goals and drive success.
